YMS 2019 – Fall Recital: An die Musik

YMS 10th Year Anniversary celebration will reach its finale on Saturday, 28 September (19.30) at Hong Kong City Hall Theatre.

A Schubert themed concert namely An die Musik will feature his solo and chamber music complemented by dramatic representations of the composer and his contemporaries. With this special occasion, we are grateful to have Carol Lin to be our director of the theatrical presentation.

Programme of the concert includes a diverse range of works from songs and dances to sonatas and piano trios and also excerpts from Beethoven’s Diabelli Variations.

YMS 2019 – 10th Year Anniversary Celebration

Highlights of YMS 10th Year Anniversary celebration will be our debut concert at Carnegie Hall on 26 July. Collaborating with the young musicians from the US, these young performers will be presenting an exciting programme of masterpieces by Chopin and Schumann, namely Class of 1810. YMS 2019 Spring Recital – Goldberg Variations

2019 marks the 10-year anniversary of the Young Musicians Series. Our first celebratory concert will be on 1 May 2019 where our young musicians will perform J. S. Bach’s Goldberg variations and complete Two-Part Inventions, together works by Rameau, Scarlatti and other Baroque composers.

Special thanks to pianists Stephen Hung and Tra B Nguyen for arranging some of the Inventions into violin cello duo and piano duet for this occasion.
